Day and tasks
Day shows your tasks by time: tap to check one off, and swipe to move, pin or edit it.
The app is in Russian for now; the English interface is in preparation. Screenshots show the Russian interface, and button names in the text are given in English.
Open Day
The “Day” tab is first on the bottom tab bar. Switch days with the ‹ and › buttons in the header. If you're not on today, a “↺” button appears: it takes you back to today. Tap the date under the title to pick another day. You can also swipe left or right across the list to change days, but not on a task card itself.
Check off a task
Tap the check circle on the right of the card. One tap checks it off, and tapping again unchecks it. Tapping the title or the body of the card doesn't check anything. The exception is meals: the “↑ before” and “↓ after” strips check off supplements separately.
Find completed tasks
Checked tasks move down to the “Done” block. Tap its heading to collapse or expand the list. You can uncheck from there too: tap the checkmark on the task's row. Rows in the “Done” block don't open with a swipe, so uncheck the task first if you want to edit or move it.
Open actions with a swipe right
Swipe the task card to the right. On a computer, do the same with the mouse, holding the button down. You'll see “Pin” (on a pinned task, “Unpin” replaces it), “Repeat”, “Focus” and “Tags”. To close them, tap the open card or slide it back into place.
Pin a task
In the swipe to the right, tap “Pin”. A pinned task that isn't done yet moves to the top of the day's list, above the tasks by time. A pinned task that's done goes to the “Done” block. To unpin, open the same swipe and tap “Unpin”. A pin applies only to the selected day.
Change the order
There are no “up” and “down” buttons in the day list, and tasks can't be dragged here. Time sets the order: tasks run by time, and a pinned task goes first. To move a task earlier or later, change its time in the editor (see the “Edit a task” step).
Move a task
Swipe the task card to the left and tap “Date”. In the window, pick a date and time, then tap “Move”. Only this day moves; repeats stay where they are. For a course step, moving creates a one-time action on the new date, and that day is skipped in the course. Pins and tags don't carry over when you move a task: set them again on the new date. If the task is linked to your phone's calendar, the window may show a checkbox, “Also change in the device calendar”. Right after the move, “Undo” appears at the bottom.
Edit a task
Swipe the task card to the left and tap “Edit”, or open the ⋮ on the card. An event or a meal opens its own form, and a one-time action opens the action form. For a course step, a short menu opens: “Open course”, “Skip for this day” and, for regular steps, “Edit action”. Editing a course step applies to all days of the course.
Delete a task
Swipe the task card to the left, tap “Delete”, and confirm in the window with the same button. For an event, a meal or a one-time action, only that day is deleted. A course step is skipped on that day only. Right after you delete, “Undo” appears for a few seconds.
Repeat a task
Swipe the task card to the right and tap “Repeat”. Choose “On another day” and set a date and time, or pick one of the schedules: “Every day”, “On certain weekdays” or “Custom interval” (2 to 90 days). The original task stays where it is, and a copy appears on the chosen day or starts repeating from the next day. Exception: if an event or a meal from the meal plan already repeats, the schedule you pick replaces its repeat from that day on, and no copy is made. If the copy lands on a single day, a message offers to “Open” it.
Add a task
Under the day's list are the “+ Event”, “+ Meal” and “+ Action” buttons. For an event, fill in the title (you can't save without one), time, duration, note and repeat: “Once”, “Every day”, “On certain weekdays” or “Interval”. For “On certain weekdays”, pick at least one day; for “Interval”, enter 2 to 90 days. The “Category and video” section is optional. Tap “Save”.
Add an action for one day
The “+ Action” button creates a task for the selected day only. In the “Day start” field, pick “Ritual step” if the action should go in the morning, or “Regular action”. For an action that repeats, add it to a course: the course spreads it across its own days.
Open the day menu
Tap the thin handle at the left edge of the Day screen, or swipe right from the left edge. The menu opens with “Find a task or note”, “Focus time”, “Together”, “Day presets”, “My calendars”, “My focus”, filters and tags. To close the menu, tap outside it or swipe left.
Add tags and a priority
Swipe the task card to the right and tap “Tags”. The “Tags and priorities” screen opens. Type tags separated by commas (up to 8, each up to 24 characters), and pick a priority: “Normal”, “Important” or “Can wait”. In the “Apply” field, choose “This item on all dates” or “Selected day only”. Tags and “Important” are then available as filters in the day menu.
Use day presets
In the day menu, choose “Day presets” and a ready-made set. You can change the name, start date, time, minutes and steps, up to 10 steps in total. The “Just this day” mode adds the items to the selected date. “Daily habit” for 7, 21 or 30 days creates one habit in “Courses”; for it, set the time of each step. Tap “See the recap”, then “Add to this day” or “Add habit”.
Write to the assistant
Open the “Assistant” tab and type your request in the field at the bottom of the screen. Write in plain sentences: what to log, when, and how often. Send the message with the send button to the right of the field. The assistant works with a Zarok Plus subscription. Without a subscription, the tab shows a description of the assistant and, when purchase is available, a “Choose a subscription” button.
Or dictate it
If your phone supports voice input, there's a microphone button next to the field. Tap it, speak, then tap “Stop”. While you record, the text shows as a hint above the field. After “Stop”, the recognized text is added to the field: check it and send.
Example requests
“Add a 15-minute warm-up to my morning ritual at 07:30.” “Log lunch at 13:00: rice, chicken, salad.” “Every Wednesday at 18:30, a one-hour meeting.” “Move the warm-up to 07:45” if it's already in the ritual. A meal request without the words “just today” is logged from that day on, for all the days that follow. If there's no morning ritual yet, the assistant creates one and tells you so.
Check what the assistant shows
The assistant replies with a short message and shows what will be logged. For a single regular change, this is a row with an “Apply” button. If there are several changes, or something would be overwritten, a “What will change” list appears with checkboxes: uncheck the ones you don't want. A “new entry” row adds a task, and a “change” row changes an existing one. Items that would overwrite existing data are unchecked by default; for those, tick “I confirm replacing existing data”. Until you tap “Apply”, nothing in your schedule changes.
Apply or cancel
“Apply” saves what's checked, and “No thanks” cancels the plan. After you apply, “Undo” appears under the assistant's reply, with the time left. The button is available while this is the latest change, and for no more than 24 hours.
Answer the assistant's questions
If details are missing, such as the time, the assistant asks up to four questions. Answer in the chat, and the plan appears after that.
A little more
clarity.
Why is a task at the bottom of the list?
Checked tasks move to the “Done” block at the bottom, including pinned ones. Pinned tasks that aren't done yet stay at the top, and the rest follow the time order. If a task should come earlier or later, change its time in the editor.
Can I undo a delete or a move?
Yes. Right after a delete, move or repeat, “Undo” appears at the bottom. Later, you can undo it in Profile, on the “Last change” card: only the latest change is available there, within 24 hours. Check marks and pins aren't part of undo, so change them by hand.
How do I change a repeating event on all days at once?
In the editor of a repeating event, choose “Just this day”, “From this day on” or “Always”. A course step changes on all days of the course through “Edit action”. A one-time action added with the “+ Action” button changes only on its own day.
Does a pin carry over to another day?
No. A pin applies to one day. If the task should be first on other days too, pin it there separately. When you move a task with “Date”, the pin doesn't carry over.
Will the assistant tell me what to eat?
No. The assistant doesn't give medical or dietary advice. It logs what you enter, and questions like this are best discussed with a specialist.
Do I need a subscription?
You can plan your day, check off, move, repeat and edit tasks without a subscription. The assistant is unlocked by the Zarok Plus subscription, which you get through Google Play. Without a subscription, the “Assistant” tab shows a description of the assistant and, when purchase is available, a “Choose a subscription” button.
