Data & sync
Entries are stored on the phone, and with an account or sync turned on, also on the server. You can save a copy as a file.
The app is in Russian for now; the English interface is in preparation. Screenshots show the Russian interface, and button names in the text are given in English.
Open the section
At the bottom of the screen, tap “Profile” and scroll down to the “Data & app” group. Tap the “Data & sync” row.
Check where your entries are stored
The “Sync is on” row means there's a copy of your entries on the server too. Below it, you see what the copy is tied to: your Telegram, a shared account linked by code, or this phone. If the connection to the server is down, the row says: “Can't reach the server. Your entries are available on this device.” The “Sync is off” row with the note “Your entries are stored on this device.” means there's no copy on the server. The “Turn on sync” button turns it back on.
Save a copy as a file
Tap “Export.” The file is named rasporyadok-YYYY-MM-DD.json, for example rasporyadok-2026-10-08.json. The app shows “File saved.” The file includes your entries, settings, and the chat with the assistant for the last 7 days. Keep the file separate from your phone: you can restore your entries from it.
Restore entries from a file
Tap “Import” and choose a Zarok backup file in .json format. The app won't accept files that don't look like a backup, or files larger than 5 MB: a message appears, and your data doesn't change. Import replaces your entries, settings, and the chat with the assistant with the data from the file. Before the replacement, your current data is saved: a “Last change” card with an “Undo” button appears in Profile. It works for 24 hours and only once. “Undo” doesn't bring back the chat with the assistant or the “Quit vows.”
Select what to delete
Tap “Reset data…” In the “Reset data” window, tap the rows to check them. You can check sections: imported calendars, check-offs, courses and habits, meals, events, quit vows, day edits, and the chat with the assistant. Or check “Reset everything.” If sync is on, a “Delete account” row appears. At the top of the window, it says that deleted data can't be restored. When sync is on, the server copy is erased along with the data on the phone. “Reset everything” clears the app on this phone and unlinks the account sign-in here. When sync is on, it erases the account on the server along with its history, but sync itself stays on: new entries will be saved to the server again.
Confirm the reset
Check “Yes, I understand: this data can't be brought back.” Until something is selected or the confirmation is checked, the button at the bottom is inactive. When everything is ready, the button reads “Reset (N),” “Reset everything,” or “Delete account.” Tap it. Before that, export your data, as in step 3.
Turn off usage statistics if you don't want them collected
In the “Privacy” block on the same page, there's the “Usage statistics” switch. It counts which actions you take in the app (for example, opening the assistant or checking off a day) and which days you open the app, without the content of your entries. Statistics are on by default. When you turn them off, the collected counts are deleted, and new ones aren't recorded.
Restore an earlier copy
If the phone's data was replaced by a copy from the server or the account, and the phone had edits that hadn't reached the server yet, those edits are saved as a copy. Copies appear in the “Copies on this device” block, and the last three are kept there. A copy is also made when you tap “Start over” on the screen after reinstalling the app. Tap “Restore,” then “Restore” in the confirmation window. Your current entries are saved as a copy as well. The trash icon deletes a copy after you confirm “Delete.”
Clear the chat with the assistant
Open the “Assistant” tab and tap “Clear” in the chat (the button appears when there are messages in the chat). The chat is erased from the phone and the server. Withdrawing AI consent also erases the chat: Profile → the card with your name → your name or photo → “Assistant & subscription” → “Withdraw AI consent.” The subscription is not cancelled. Google Play manages it.
Ask the assistant to add something
Open the “Assistant” tab. If it isn't at the bottom, find it under “More sections” in Profile. Type in the “What should we plan?” field, or tap the microphone button “Voice input” if your phone supports voice. Speak and tap “Stop”: the recognized text is added to the field. Examples: “Workout on Mondays and Thursdays at 19:00, 60 minutes”; “Breakfast at 08:30, oatmeal and an egg”; “Add 5 minutes of gratitude to my morning ritual at 07:00” (this works if you already have a ritual course: without one, the app asks you to create it in Courses); “I'm starting the course ‘English’: classes on Wednesdays at 19:00.”
Confirm or decline
The assistant doesn't add anything on its own. If there are several items, or something will overwrite existing data, it shows a “What will change” card. Each item says “new entry” with the type of entry (course, meal, event, step), or “changes entry” with a name. If there are several items, select the ones you want. If an item will overwrite existing data, check “I confirm replacing existing data.” If a similar entry already exists, the card says “Another one will be created.” Tap “Apply” (with the number of selected items, if there are several) or “No thanks.”
A little more
clarity.
Where are my entries stored?
On the phone. If sync is on or you're signed in to an account, a copy is also stored on the server. When you sign in to the same account on another phone, the entries are pulled down from the server. The export file is a separate copy that you keep yourself.
Is sync on by default?
In the app from the store, yes: when the app starts, it begins keeping a copy on the server unless sync is turned off. It's the same in Telegram.
How do I turn sync off?
There's no separate switch. “Delete account” in the “Reset data” window turns sync off: it erases the entries on this phone and the copy on the server, and turns sync off. After that, new entries are stored only on this phone, so export first. You can turn sync back on with the “Turn on sync” button.
What happens if I change phones?
Sign in on the new phone with the same account (Google or email): your entries are pulled down from the server. If you don't use an account, open “Profile → Account → Connect another device” on the old phone, get the code (it's valid for 10 minutes and works once), and enter it on the new phone with the “Sign in with a code” button (it's in the app from the store). If the account already has entries, the new phone's entries are replaced by them, and the earlier ones are saved as a copy. Or move the export file and choose “Import.”
Can deleted data be restored?
No, unless you exported beforehand. You can undo the last change (a reset or an import) with the “Undo” button in Profile, within 24 hours, once. Undo doesn't bring back the chat with the assistant or the “Quit vows.” If the data was replaced by a copy from the server or the account, the earlier entries are in “Copies on this device,” and you can bring them back with the “Restore” button and confirm “Restore.”
What's included in the export file?
Entries, settings, usage statistics counts (if statistics are on), and the chat with the assistant for the last 7 days. Messages with the developer are not included in the file.
How long is the chat with the assistant kept?
On the phone, for 7 days, then old messages are erased automatically. A copy of each request and answer is kept on our server for up to 180 days, to improve the assistant. Only the developer has access to it. The “Clear” button in the chat erases both copies. Resetting the “Chat with the assistant” section erases the chat on the phone but not the copy on the server: use “Clear” for that.
